Today, the courage quote that is speaking to me is “When we choose courage, we choose what our souls are longing for, to be deeply connected with our true selves.” Recently, I had to speak to a group of leaders at our church about a concern that had been brought to my attention. This took a lot of courage for me, as not everyone agreed there is a problem. However, I knew that I needed to speak up and I had to have courage to do that. My husband reminded me to pray before I spoke and that God would give me the correct words. I did pray and God did give me the words and the courage to speak. God Bless You, Linda. Merry Christmas!
Linda…all of your courage quotes are inspiring! As I read them, the one that held me there rereading was “Ordinary courage is pretty extraordinary.” I believe that it is in the small things of our lives, simple daily life, that we are called to be courageous, to speak up for those who cannot, to listen to those to whom no onewants to listen, to be brave enough to praise Jesus and give him the glory and honor for all things, to stay strong and persevere in love, His Love!
