Is being too tired a good excuse not to follow through on your goals?
I really wanted to use that excuse this week. But when I thought about my desired outcome to feel great when I run my half marathon I decided to push through my resistance.
But then, even in the middle of pushing through, I started thinking about ways to cut corners the next day! Have you ever done that?
Extra accountability is what I needed this week! So I stepped it up. I made a commitment to video and let you know when I completed my next goal (4 mile run).
I want to say a big THANK YOU to my blog community for watching this and my friend Stephanie for running with me because I would have totally cheated myself and ran fewer miles. Confession: I get lazy and I like to cut corners 🙂

Keep up the focus and great work Ayesha!! xoxo
Congrats Linda on reaching your next goal. That is inspiring to read especially the part where you hold yourself accountable with the help of your friend. I aspire to have both the determination let alone a dear friend, to assist me (someday). Today, 9/17 being my birthday, has felt like an unpleasant, emotional day, starting with the hurtful realization of the person whom I thought was a dear friend is not a true friend at all. Lastly, I remain stuck and can’t get out of my own way , because of so many reasons. I continue the hurdle, with hopes of learning of making a breakthrough as I read your posts. So, thank you. 😉 I need help being holding myself accountable.
Sheryl, first I want to say happy belated birthday. I am so sorry to hear that happened to you on your special day. Thank you for being here and sharing your heart. Please use this blog to help hold you accountable. Sometime we just have to get creative in how to stay accountable. Bottom line, we are accountable to God and ourselves. I hope this next year of life for you is the best year yet of health, healing, inspiration, and love. Sending you lots of (((hugs)))!!
Great job Linda! I had a big weekend at the Joyce Meyer Women’s Conference and my writing accountability was with me. We both knew I would need grace this week for my Blog because of how worn out I would be and am physically. But, I have a plan in place to still meet my long run goal and I left the Conference with a few blog ideas so I was still thinking and preparing and letting the Spirit move within me.
I love how vulnerable and honest you are with us! Praying for you daily girl to keep on keepin on, for the launch team, your family and you! You are Worthy, I am worthy, we are worthy! Thank you Jesus!
Thank you Melissa!! Boy I wish I was at the conference with you. I love Joyce Meyer!!! I listen to her just about every day. 🙂
