In 2009 Linda was diagnosed with Stage 3 Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. During chemotherapy treatments she was hospitalized in a coma for almost a month. She was on life support and given a less than 5% survival rate. The doctors told the family if they believed in divine intervention it was time to ask for it. God came through with an absolute miracle! Waking up from the coma she was told she would never breath or walk again on her own, but God had a different plan for her! Six months later she trained for her first half marathon.
While training, she had the most life changing experience working with a coach. Her coach was dedicated, encouraging and passionate to see her overcome every obstacle. That is when she discovered the deepest desire of her heart. She wanted to do for others what had been done for her! Determined to honor her life and glorify God by loving and encouraging women to achieve God’s purpose in their life she became a Certified Christian Life Coach at Christian Coach Institute in 2010, a Certified Human Behavior Consultant in 2011, a Board Certified Coach with The Center for Credentialing & Education in 2012, and graduated in 2020 with a Diploma of Biblical Theology from KINEO Ministry Training Center.
Linda speaks at organizations such as The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, Christian radio station New Life Station New Life 91.9, churches and women’s ministries throughout the United States. She has served on the Executive Leadership Team for Proverbs 31 Ministries Online Bible Studies released her first book, Worthy of a Miracle in 2015. Linda is a contributing author in the newly released book Igniting Revival Fire Every Day devotional as well as Your Life Still Counts: How God Uses Your Past To Create A Beautiful Future and Called To Coach from Christian Coach Institute.
She’s been married for 26 years to her high school sweetheart, Todd. Her husband is such an incredible man who has always stood by her side and he continues to motivate her to be the woman God created her to be. They have one amazing daughter, Megan. She is a 20-year-old with a passion and love for design and fashion. They have two small dogs, Little Bit and Maggie, who are always by their side or on their laps!
Linda’s favorite time of the day is early in the morning before anyone is awake. This is when she has quiet time with God. Her day is never complete unless she starts it with God. She loves nature, being outdoors, hiking and most of all hanging out with the family.
