I’m still in shock this happened … Taking Revival to Iowa

I literally start to cry every time I think about what happened at Adult & Teen Challenge in Colfax, Iowa on July 13, 2019.

Dear friend, no matter what you are doing right now in your life, please allow my testimony to give you hope that GOD HAS A PLAN FOR YOUR LIFE to do great works for His kingdom. Never in a million years would I have thought my family would get to be used by God to demonstrate miracles, signs and wonders through the power of the Holy Spirit in baptizing over 200 precious lives.

Please listen to the above conversation with Brandon Avalos with Ascended Life Ministries. There is so much wisdom from Brandon. I encourage you not to take these words lightly. Take notes and ask God what He is calling you to do in this very season of your life. Time is short friends and we must steward it well.

Are demons real?

I believe we must have a clear direction for our life.  We are so easily distracted by our fast pace lifestyles that it is easy to have a blurred vision of where we want to go or what we really want to change in our life. Coaching will give you clarity to identify your values, goals and purpose.

He Knows My Name by Francesca Battistelli has been playing in my office this week. This video and the girls in it speak to my heart so deeply. I will continue to fight for the rest of my life to share Jesus with the world. HE HEALS! HE REDEEMS! HE FREES US!!!! THANK YOU JESUS!!!

This is one of my very favorite books. It has literally changed my life. I recommend it to all of my clients to use as a tool to help them in any area of life they are struggling in. It is a quick reference guide with prayers and scriptures that will set you free! The book is Fasting for Breakthrough and Deliverance by John Eckhardt.

Say What?

“40 days of juice.  I’m asking you to drink juice for the next 40 days?  No chewing any food.  No solids, straight vegetable and fruit juice.”

Say what???

“You’ve gotta be kidding me?  I love my food way too much…and not to mention no chewing…just slurping some nasty juice?  There is no way I could ever do something so drastic!”

Well my friends, that was the conversation I had with God one early morning, last October.  I was snuggled in my favorite chair, enjoying the solitude, sipping my hot coffee when God stirred my spirit to take a giant step towards radical obedience.

I was in a season where God was opening up many doors in my Christian Life Coaching business.  During that time, he also impressed on my heart to write a book about the truths I’ve learned to live by since my near death experience.  I did not take his instructions lightly.  I knew this was something I could not do in my own strength.

After a few minutes of complaining and arguing with God about this ridiculous juice fast, he whispered, “If I cannot trust you with food, how can I trust you with people?”

Those words pierced my heart and there was no way I could deny what he was asking me to do.

Later that morning I shared with my bible study group that I was going to start a 40-day juice fast the very next day and asked for their earnest prayers.  I sobbed as we prayed together because I knew this was going to be a life long pivotal moment in my relationship with the Lord.  Following Christ with radical obedience wasn’t going to be for this one occasion; instead it was going to become the way of life….a new kind of normal.

As I write this post, ten months has past and I’m currently in the process of signing with a literary agent.  I’ve learned that radical obedience is really the only way to experiencing life with deep satisfaction.
