The Write Release Journaling Workshops: Your pen … Your paper … Your legacy
In 2007 my mother-in-law Judy passed away from a long battle with cancer. Everyone who met her felt like they had been in the presence of an angel. She always gave her full attention and listening ear to the person in front of her. Her compassion and unconditional love radiated in every word she spoke. The one word that fully describes who she was is selfless. She was the real hands and feet of Christ.
Judy left behind many things for us, but the most precious gift were her words written on paper. In her very own handwriting we can read at anytime how much she loved us. Her journal is priceless. No amount of money can buy someone’s dreams, thoughts, struggles, fears, faith, etc. – their heart. Journaling was a safe retreat for her to freely express herself. She learned about who she was and who God was in her life.
During her final days as I sat beside her bed examining her delicate fingers pondering all the blessings her hands provided, I was not sure why at the time I was so enthralled with such a seemly small part of an amazing woman. It wasn’t until I sat and read the words she had penned with them. Her journal expressed her everyday life … a gift for her and a gift for us.
Will you join me in the significant release that comes through guided journaling? It is powerful, it is authentic, and it is life changing. It is Judy’s legacy passed to you.

What clients are saying about working with Linda Kuhar~
“Upon first speaking with Linda on our introductory call, I found her to be completely genuine, attentive, and focused on what I was concerned with and how she could best assist me in reaching my goals. Linda made me feel completely comfortable speaking about anything, which is something needed when trying to get to some of those root problems. Throughout my sessions with Linda, she would always check in on me, encouraging me with daily devotions, and also give me some assignments which she held me accountable. I was very thankful for her accountability, as discipline is not something I am the best at. I looked forward to my weekly sessions with Linda, as I could tell my work with her was helping me become stronger each week. Not only is Linda positive and encouraging, but she is honest, and encourages you to be honest with yourself and do some self-examination. I am truly thankful to Linda for taking the time to help me through some things, and I thank God for bringing her into my life, just when I needed it.” Sara W., VA
“Linda is amazing! She’s genuine, the real deal! In each call you can hear it in her voice how much she genuinely cares & has a deep desire to help. She’s positive & uplifting, encouraging & supportive. Linda will even be the first to tell you that it all comes from God & not her, that she is God’s vessel being used by him to bring his words to you.” Tricia D., IN
“I gained clarity about my talents and priorities, and was able to regain a sense of serenity, which is priceless! I am so grateful that Linda was able to walk with me through a challenging time with kindness, empathy and humor.” Cassie C., NJ
“Linda has been an inspiration in my life. Her ability to genuinely love others shows in her communication and presence. She gives me undivided attention, by listening and never judging. Her words of wisdom are inspiring and motivating.” Steph K., NC
“What a blessing and an honor it has been to meet Linda. She helped me define, establish and finish some goals that were very important to me. What we accomplished in our sessions, were priceless information and Christian guidance that genuinely helped me finish 3 of my 4 goals. My fourth goal is an ongoing goal, and she helped me come full circle in my own decisions on how to make it happen.” Cathy F., TX
“I was not looking for a Life Coach. To be honest, I had no clue what a Life Coach was, let alone a Christian Life Coach. It was by circumstance and God’s blessing that I found Linda. What better way to heal and move forward than feeding yourself spiritually so you can then mentally and physically align yourself with what God has planned for your life. Linda, through God’s leading helped me step outside of situations and not get stuck in the pit that was calling my name. I love Linda’s gentle ways, her love for the Lord and her genuine heart that seeks to help others reach their God-given potential.” Trish C., NY
“I am so thankful God led me to Linda. Coaching is exactly what I needed at a desperate time in my life. I just felt so stuck and held back. Linda asked questions that had me digging deeper and she was always so encouraging and had me pressing forward always pointing me to Jesus. My time with her has been so special and I have a new excitement and passion for life.” Bethany G., PA
“Linda was a delight to work with by phone sessions as I prepared for a first time speaking presentation for 150 women at a church brunch. Once I prepared my content, Linda helped me fine tune it. Her insights on how to connect with an audience were invaluable. She helped me see God’s “big picture” of my speaking presentation so I could relax and take my eyes off myself, and truly minister to the women in the audience. The event was a huge success. Not just because my content was valuable, but because Linda helped me communicate in a way that reached women’s hearts.” Kay Long, AZ
“I love that after praying for a Christian Coach for a year God led me to you. I am amazed how he has knit us together, the bond we share and how this journey has brought me closer to Him. You have taken me so far this year in my journey with God. I accept your invitation to join you on the next leg of this journey. I’m looking forward to it.”Randi R., NY
“Sometimes the details of life get overwhelming. In these moments you need a compassionate heart and the words of God spoken into your situation. Linda has been granted these gifts and she displays them with grace and charm. My walk with Christ has changed completely while working with Linda. Not in a way I expected but in a way truly needed.” Joline D., MN
“I am so thankful that God directed my path to Linda Kuhar. I’m a pretty organized, type A, driven person and wasn’t real sure what benefit I would get from a Coach, but I was feeling restless in my business and knew that wasn’t a good place to be. For me, this was a great investment in money and time. Knowing that I was dealing with a “like minded” individual who was praying with me and for my business gave me the confidence that God was going to show me what to do next by clearing a path to move forward, or shutting a door where I shouldn’t go. Linda listened to what I was sharing and would point out different areas that she heard I may need to focus on or think about. I spent 4 weeks being coached by Linda and through her God shared “nuggets” that will last a lifetime.” Melanie S., FL
Have you ever gone to bed and thought, “I have no idea how I made it through today?” Or, “I’m so busy I need a break or I’m going to break!” Or, “I can’t juggle ONE. MORE. THING.” and you said it in Z-formation with three snaps and a neck twist?
I get it. I so get it.
I get it so much that I wrote this book for us. I know we juggle a lot of stuff and wear a lot of different hats. I wrote this book, because I know what busy feels like. Busy feels exhausting. Busy feels productive. Busy feels like I’m important because important people have “stuff” to do, right? But, when I’m too busy, I feel cray (my cool way to say crazy). And, being cray is not okay.
As I’ve examined some of my past “I’m so busy” statements, God illuminated that many of my “busy” thoughts were rooted in fear. I feared that I’m not enough – so I filled my time with “important stuff” – I feared if I said, “No!”, I’d let others down – I feared that I’d live an unimportant life – I feared being out of the loop and missing something, anything, really.
My, “I’m so busy!” almost always had an origin of fear, not faith. The way to combat fear is with faith. God made you and I on purpose for a purpose, and it’s to live in, by and with faith. I have faith that whatever God drops into our hands, it is because we’re blessed – not because we’re busy!
I have a strong aversion to watching re-runs (I’ve already seen it, why do I need to see it again?). Similarly, being around people that regularly declare, “I’m so busy!” makes me feel a little like I’m watching a re-run of my own life. I want to encourage your heart for the next 30 days to lose the cray, “I’m so busy!” mentality and move to an okay, “I’m so blessed!” attitude. Life doesn’t have to be perfect to be okay; okay really is good enough. You are good enough!
This book is small enough to fit in your purse, brief case or diaper bag. It’s a book and workbook all in one (one less thing to misplace!) and designed to be used as a journal with blank lines provided each day to record your thoughts. At the end of every day, I included one “Blessed Juggler Tip” shared from my friends that have found a practical way to shift an area of their juggle from cray to okay. I have really smart friends, so you’ll want to read their tips!
This book would be a great resource to use for a four-week book club, small group, Bible study or an accountability group. You can use Day 1 as your introduction day and Day 30 as your closing day, which will give you four full weeks of daily encouragement. At the end of each week, go through the past seven-days of discoveries together and then encourage each other!
I pray the words in this book encourage you to realize that while you may be juggling a lot, (maybe even more than you think you can or should handle), it is because you are so very blessed.
It’s my heart’s desire that you live a very joyful, purpose-filled, and blessed juggle life!
Anyone that shares this post and leaves a comment below about an area that they struggle in their juggle will be entered in to win a free autographed copy of The Blessed Juggleand a pair of these beautiful fair trade Blessed Juggle earrings (in the picture below!)! (The winner will be contacted one week from today on April 18th!) These fun earrings can be worn with jeans, yoga pants or a dress and elegantly captures The Blessed Jugglemessage. The gold circle represents God and the turquoise balls are all those important people and things you juggle. The turquoise color looks awesome on only everybody! There’s a wage difference for women worldwide. Women and their children that live in poverty are at an increased risk for being trafficked (human trafficking is also known as modern day slavery). I’m so proud to offer these fair trade earrings as the women that created them did so under fair working conditions; ethical fashion is fabulous fashion! I absolutely LOVE wearing mine, which I wore in this video that I made just for you!
Chapter 15, Speak Truth is one of my very favorite chapters in my book because of the VERYBIGMIRACLE that happened in my life through the act of speaking truth in my life. I cannot wait for you to read about this miracle in my book!
(Excerpt Worthy of a Miracle pg. 195-196) “Going through cancer and the coma, I learned the power of my thoughts and words. When I woke up in the hospital and could not speak, my thoughts quickly turned from defeat to determination. Backed by the power of the prayers of my family and friends, I insisted that I was going to breathe on my own, get out of the bed, and walk again. I believed that God had not brought me this far to quit. No one was going to stop me. My thoughts became my words, which became my reality.
Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will. (Rom. 12:2)
This was the Scripture I clung to while undergoing chemotherapy. Little did I know how it would impact the rest of my healing. Words are powerful. All of creation came to be simply through the power of God’s word. “And God said, ‘Let there be light,’ and there was light” (Gen. 1:3). God’s word spoke creation into existence.
Our words are like the air we breathe. Our words give us life. It’s time to believe in the power of our words and the positive impact they can have on us. Speaking the truth out loud has changed my life, my faith, and my relationships with my family and friends. It has helped me let go of all the times in my childhood when I had no voice and learned to think my only real value was in how I looked or how I performed. Now I know that when I speak, Jesus is listening, even if no one else hears. I know this because of my personal relationship with him. Today, I know that when we speak God’s word, we have supernatural power and authority through Christ. And when we speak God’s words to ourselves, we do a better job of encouraging and uplifting with positive self-talk as we face life’s challenges.”
Today I want to encourage you to examine the words you are speaking to others and to yourself. Let me know in the comments below if you’ve had any experience with speaking God’s word out loud and what it has done for you.
What do you do when something completely messes up your routine after setting your goal and coming up with a specific plan? For me this week it was jury duty that wrecked my schedule.
I had a choice to make, either wait until the evening to do my run or get up extra early and run in the dark. I know myself all to well, which meant I had to get my exercise in the wee morning hours or more than likely I’d skip out on it at night.
When life gets in the way it can be an easy excuse not to follow through in our goals.
Are you going to give into excuses or be flexible?
Leave a comment and let me know how you can allow flexibility into your schedule so that you will accomplish your goals? Everyone who comments will be entered to WIN devotional book by Lysa TerKeurst.
Speak this affirmation with me: I am worthy.
You are worthy. We are worthy to accomplish our goals. Thank you Jesus!

I’m going to be real honest with you and today … I didnotwanttogo out for my long run!
I woke up and felt like I had aches and pains from head to toe. I really wanted to procrastinate and put my run off until tomorrow.
Last week I had two unexpected doctor appointments that gave me a little scare. Everything is fine and I’m completely healthy, but it really did mess with my mindset.
Have you ever set a goal and then out of nowhere opposition challenges you?
That’s what happened to me last week, the very first week of training for my half marathon!
Let me know where you are struggling with your goal? What support do you need to keep moving forward?
If you are not struggling with your goal, think about what challenges you might face in the weeks ahead and how you can prepare yourself so that you will stay on track when opposition comes?
Leave me a comment and let me know how you are doing with your goal and where might you need support.
You are not alone in this. Together we will achieve our goals!

I’m tired. I’m hurting. How can this be happening again? Why are You allowing this pain?
I don’t want to be broken. I want to be whole. I know this is an unrealistic expectation during this lifetime, but I want to be without this ache in my soul. I don’t want another heartache.
Haven’t I been through enough in my life?
I confess God I get angry, very angry because You allow me to walk through these painful trials … yet again.
I’m sorry.
God, how can I live in constant peace in this broken place?
Is that attainable?
Truth is I’m sad … I’m devastated.
I want to fix this with my own hands, in my own strength. The only way I know how to do that is to simply lift my hands up to You with what little strength I have left in me.
Tears soak my face. Dripping on my laptop. The need to understand dissolves.
Thank you God.
I receive Your peace now. I will rest in your constant peace.

Where is your secret place that you meet with God? Where do you feel most connected to God? This place where I meet with God is my little sanctuary.
A little over 5 years ago I remember being right here on this trail. I was undergoing chemotherapy and I had no idea how sick I was going to end up … in a coma on life support. I remember thinking as I walked the trail that the one thing I had for certain was God and His promises to me.
No matter what, God is faithful to the very end.
Let me know where is your sanctuary? Ann how has God been faithful in your life? Everyone who comments will be entered to win a copy of Your Life Still Counts by Tracie Miles. Winner announced Thursday.

Back and forth, back and forth as I rubbed my sweaty palms together.
Breathe. You just need to remember to breathe Linda.
It was almost time for me to enter the classroom for the very first time and I thought I was going to have a panic attack.
This is totally crazy! Why in the world am I freaking out? I speak in front of people all the time. Why is this any different?
Honestly, I was puzzled by how I was physically reacting. I could literally hear my heart beating and I even felt light-headed.
I signed up over a month ago to take a class on public speaking and I was actually very excited about it. It was going to be fun and I was going to learn some new tips for engaging with my audience.
My talks were going to be recorded over the next two days and three exceptional speaking coaches would give me valuable feedback.
And therein lies the problem. FEEDBACK!
Anticipating feedback is what got me all bent out of shape. It sent me into the crazy land of what will “they” think about me. I could not believe it, but that sneaky little insecurity bug had bit me once again.
Insecurity is my nemesis. I would give anything to never deal with it again but for some reason it’s one of those things I’ve battled with my entire life.
And what’s even worse is that I just wrote a blog post about this very same thing a few weeks ago.
I wish I could tell you that I took my own advice from that blog and envisioned everyone’s opinions bouncing right off of me as I immersed myself in the holy truth, that I am a talented and gifted daughter of the Most High King. But that would be a BIG FAT LIE!
Nope for the 2 days I was in class I was sweating bullets. I was pretty much a ball of nervous energy. Yep! Little miss Christian Life Coach here really needed to take some of my own advice.
Driving home Friday evening after my last class I was exhausted. I wanted nothing more than to go straight to bed and pull the covers over my head. All my insecurities had just about sucked the life out of me. Seriously! I am not kidding.
I was disappointed that I had struggled so much over the course of a 48 hour period. While I was in class, I really didn’t felt comfortable in my own skin and I sure as heck never landed in my sweet spot while I was speaking. I just felt like a mess.
It’s five days later as I’m writing this blog post and boy oh boy have I gained a new perspective on this whole experience! If you would have asked me last week what my take away was from stepping outside my comfort zone I might have told you, don’t do it! EVER! I’m sure of it.
But today I can say with 100% confidence that I am so stinkin proud of myself for pushing through my fears and leaning into discomfort.
After this experience of stretching myself and stepping waaaay outside my comfort zone, I have a much greater awareness of myself. I learned when you are confident, it radiates through your every word, mannerisms and how you carry yourself. And when I stay connected to my one true source (God) I am the most authentic true self I can possibly be.
Let me tell you, focusing on our imperfections is down right exhausting! And I believe that’s another reason why this class was so hard for me.
But looking back I can now see that when we choose to focus on our strengths, boldness and security we blossom into exactly who God created us to be! With confidence I can say that is where God has me today as I write this post.
I’m challenging you dear reader to examine where you are in life and where you want to be? Are you willing to step outside your comfort zone? What will be the cost of not stretching yourself?
