I’ve shared with you in the past how I’ve personally struggled with anxiety, depression and negative thoughts. I am here to tell you that you do not have to struggle with the same lies I struggle with. Lies of I’m not good enough, I’m never going to be good enough, lies of insecurity, unworthiness, etc. Friends, I have been set free, truly delivered from that mindset and belief. In all honesty I know that it was spiritual what I was dealing with.
As a child early on I partnered and agreed with those lies and negative thoughts. For example, I didn’t think I was smart so I agreed and started calling myself stupid. I carried that all through adulthood. Just over this past year have I really been set free from the lies and insecurities.
Psalm 30:2 says, “Lord my God I called to you for help and you healed me” and Psalm 30:11 tells us “You turned my wailing into dancing; you removed my sackcloth and clothed me with joy.” and that is exactly what God has done in my life.
When I truly called out to the Lord, he set me free! I prayed, “Lord, I no longer stand in agreement and partner with these lies that I’m not good enough. I tell those things to go in the name of Jesus.” I prayed, “lying spirit go in the name of Jesus, unworthiness go in the name of Jesus, insecurity go in the name of Jesus, I no longer partner with those and I choose to partner with you Lord and who you say I am. I am worthy. I am loved. I have nothing to fear.”
And guess what? Today there is no longer insecurity in me. I simply have joy and freedom!
After praying such a simple heartfelt prayer, I have been fully delivered. Today I invite you in to pray with me and after this video, continue in prayer if there is anything that you’ve been holding onto. There is power and freedom in Jesus. I promise!

Citipointe Live is on repeat in my office this week! I love worshipping the Lord!!!
Are you struggling to find an answer? Are you wrestling with something and questioning what you are suppose to do? I’m gonna let you in on a little secret, God has the answer for you. As your Christian Life Coach I know you’re not surprised I’m telling you this, however I promise you it is so true. I have a scripture that is my go to and it works every time!
James 1:5-8 tells us, “If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you. But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. That person should not expect to receive anything from the Lord. Such a person is double-minded and unstable in all they do.”
God will answer and guide you, but whenever you ask Him for His guidance and wisdom, do not second guess and be double-minded. I promise you that He will give you the answer.
When I was questioning if I should go into my coaching ministry full-time and leave my job I went to the Lord and simply asked Him. It blew my mind because He answered me over and over with confirmation. I not only had that deep gut feeling and knowing that it was time, but He confirmed it in scripture, in my surroundings and even when I went to the employer and shared with them that my season was over. My employer said my job was coming to an end as well. And once everything came to completion, I realized that I had prayed 6 to 8 months prior for that specific time of the year to hopefully move to the next phase of my calling.
I want to encourage you today to simply ask God whatever you are searching for and I promise He will answer you. You will know in your spirit and in your heart and you will continue to get confirmation of His guidance and answer.

I felt the need to create this video for anyone clicking through YouTube possibly struggling with anxiety, depression or suicidal thoughts. I specifically wanted to make this video for you. As a young girl I struggled a lot with my emotions. I really couldn’t put my finger on it but wrestled a good bit with anxiety and depression. When I was in sixth grade I got in a fight with my mom over my hair and ended up taking an entire bottle of sleeping pills. I landed in the hospital for about a week and began therapy. Life was very challenging going through adolescents.
Fast forward to later in life, after having my daughter, I struggled with postpartum depression. The doctor put me on an antidepressant for a few years. For many years I struggled on and off with anxiety and depression and just a roller coaster of emotions. I am no longer on medication and no longer struggle with the depths of anxiety and depression. I do struggle at different times with my moods being up and down, just natural human emotions but I honestly do not have it any more.
The reason I remain healthy and healed is because of God’s word, His truth and His spirit inside of me. I remain confident and healed because whenever I struggle emotionally He is the one that I seek. He is the one that brings clarity, wisdom and healing in my life.
Psalm 23
“The LORD is my shepherd, I shall not be in want. he restores my soul. He guides me in paths of righteousness for his name’s sake. Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.”
If you are struggling with anxiety, depression or suicidal thoughts I strongly encourage you to read Psalm 23 out loud over and over and let it get deep within your spirit. Even before you begin to read it ask God what He is speaking directly to you through His words. At times in our life we feel very lonely and feel like we are the only one having a hard time. I am here to tell you that I know that I know that I know that you are never alone and I am never alone. God is with me always. His spirit is inside of me and inside of you. He will speak to you, direct your paths, comfort you and protect you.
Simply speak the name of Jesus and healing will begin immediately.
“By faith in the name of Jesus, this man whom you see and know has been made strong. It is Jesus’ name and the faith that comes through Him that has given him this complete healing in your presence.” Acts 3:16

This song was on my heart as I wrote this post today. Enjoy listening and sitting in His Presence.
I want to impart faith into you today. I am here living and breathing, alive and well to share that you my friend must have faith and believe the Lord! The reason I say that is because it was nine years ago that I was diagnosed with Stage 3 cancer, ended up in a coma on life support and given less than a 5% chance of survival. The doctor said it would take divine intervention to heal me. My friends, family and my amazing husband had faith to believe that our Lord was going to heal me. And that is exactly what God did. Not only did I come through the cancer and coma, they said I would not walk again or breathe again on my own and one year later I ran my very first half marathon with the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society Team In Training. Here I am before you today, as healthy as can be.
I want to share a scripture and prayer with you. One thing I know for certain is that the Lord hears our prayers and answers them. Jesus said in Matthew 17:20 “Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.”
Nothing ever is impossible with God. I want to encourage you and challenge you no matter what you are going through to have faith my friend. Have that child like faith. Even when you see what is in front of you and really have no idea how you are going to be healed or how a relationship will be mended. Choose to believe God and have faith that He will take care of it.
Heavenly Father I thank you for everyone watching this video. Thank you Jesus that we can ask and pray for anything in your name and that it will be done. Lord I pray for everyone here to have child like faith. I pray against the years of struggle, worry, fear, anxiety, and questioning Lord. I pray today is a new beginning and that they step out in your faith and they believe you, trust you and your word no matter what they see in front of them. Thank you Jesus. Thank you Lord. Thank you Holy Spirit. It’s in Jesus Christ name we pray. Amen. God bless you.

Many people go to church and do the “Christian thing” but might not have fully surrendered their life over to Jesus Christ. Romans 10:9 says if you declare with your mouth Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead you will be saved. To be honest with you years ago I would speak that but I didn’t believe it in my heart. That was my struggle. I would like to pray for anyone watching this video that is struggling to believe. Lord please help them to believe.
I promise you don’t have to have it all figured out or really understand it all but if you profess with your mouth today that I believe Jesus is Lord and God raised him from the dead to save my life, you will be saved. You will not only have joy here, but you will have life in eternity. That’s what its all about! Having life now and living it to the fullest and living forever in eternity with everyone you love and our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!
I hope you will take me up on this invitation and join me along this journey. I know sometimes that it can feel scary and you might think moving forward that you have to do everything perfectly, but that is not the case, that is why we have Jesus. We are going to do things imperfect every single day. It’s not about you being perfect anymore but allowing Jesus Christ to be perfect in and through you. Have you ever struggled to really connect with God and it feels like He is nowhere to be found?
On those days when I feel so far away and disconnected from God I intentionally get on my knees, no matter if I feel like it or not. I get in a posture so that I can hear the Lord. I will get on my knees, put on worship music to listen and sing along and give thanks and praise with my mouth.
In Matthew 14:27-29 when Jesus walks on the water and he says to them: “Take courage! It is I. Don’t be afraid.” “Lord, if it’s you,” Peter replied, “tell me to come to you on the water.” “Come,” he said. Then Peter got down out of the boat, walked on the water and came toward Jesus. In order for us to really connect with Jesus, we must come. We must get out of the boat and go to him.
I want to encourage you today if it’s one of those times where you’re feeling a little discouraged or disconnected from the Lord, get in a posture to connect with him on your knees, seek the Lord, listen to worship and praise him with your mouth. I promise you that if you will take that step of obedience and have the courage to seek him you will connect with the Lord in a very special way.

I pray that you know Jesus in such a profound way that you do not fear death but that you look forward to the day you will meet Him. In John 11:25-26 Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; and whoever lives by believing in me will never die. Do you believe this?”
I invite you to take a moment today and reflect on what you truly believe. Let’s be grateful for today and this moment of life.
